Confidence in the year ahead for the red meat industry - with strong exports last year

Data from the Meat Industry Association shows our red meat exports were worth 11.7-billion-dollars during 2025, a record value for a year.
The US was the largest market for the year totalling 3.2-billion - up 17-percent on 2024.
Meat Industry Advocacy Manager Leigh Shaw says they're hoping to see more of the same this year.
She says strong prices are predicted to continue for at least the next two years - alongside huge demand.
