New Zealand red meat exports have hit just over 3-billion dollars during this year's first quarter

New Zealand red meat exports have hit just over 3-billion dollars during this year's first quarter

    21 May 2022
That's a 17-percent increase on the same period last year, despite a drop in volumes due to global supply chain and pandemic issues.

The Meat Industry Association's Esther Guy-Meakin says it's demonstrates the strength of our diversity - with the country exporting to over 110 markets.

She says it's good to see products can be shifted between markets when required.
