Cara Delevingne tested Topshop's new collection by wearing the clothes at Glastonbury Festival this summer

The model is an ambassador for the revived brand - which relaunches at the end of August - as well as being the face of the new autumn/winter campaign and Cara has revealed she took the new Topshop pieces to the iconic music festival in June to see how they worked and she was thrilled to tell fellow festival-goers she was wearing items from the former high street giant

    6 August 2025
She told The Sunday Times newspaper: "I wore the pinstripe trousers with the faux-fur jacket and was so excited to tell people that they were part of the 'new' Topshop collection.

"You can dress these pieces up or down and wear them for everything from a meeting to going out to lunch to hanging out at home."

Cara went on to insist the new Topshop collection features pieces she would feel proud to have in her wardrobe, saying: "It's all the things that I want in my wardrobe.

"Going from my twenties into my thirties, I wanted to kind of start dressing with a bit more thought. This collection lets me do that.

"You wear it with more Topshop or with vintage or other brands. Each piece stands out so much - there really is something for everyone."

She added: "Each piece is purposeful. What matters now is quality over quantity."

In a separate interview with ELLE magazine, Cara revealed she was keen to be a part of the brand's relaunch after previously walking the runway in Topshop's fashion shows and starring in a campaign for the company back in 2014.

She said: "To be asked to be part of the relaunch, it meant so much to me - and my teenage self, who remembers going into Topshop and really feeling like you could find anything you wanted."

Cara added of the first collection: "It feels very eclectic, but also modern."

The 30-piece collection debuts on the relaunched Topshop website on August 16.

Topshop Managing Director Michelle Wilson said in a statement: "Cara is the perfect embodiment of the Topshop spirit - bold, creative, and unapologetically herself. This partnership is more than a campaign; it's a statement of intent as we reintroduce Topshop to the world."
