Positivity - over big increases in farm pay over the past two years

Positivity - over big increases in farm pay over the past two years

    29 April 2024
A new Farming Salaries Report indicates the average wage rose 13-percent across all surveyed categories.

Growth is higher for some senior roles, and arable farm manager salaries rose 28-percent, to just over 101-thousand-dollars.

Federated Farmers Employment spokesperson, Richard McIntyre, says it shows a pathway for newcomers.

McIntyre says it's awesome to know they can enter the industry, work hard, move up and get paid significantly more.
