Long period southwest swell 3 metres. Northwest swell rising to 4 metres. Poor visibility in rain. Possible morning thunderstorms south of Abut Head. Thursday: Westerly 20 knots but northwest 30 knots north of Cape Foulwind. Becoming westerly 30 knots everywhere in the morning. Sea becoming rough everywhere. Westerly swell becoming heavy.
