Marine Weather Situation and Forecast issued at 0337hrs Sunday 19-Oct-2025 by MetService

    Situation:

On Monday, the front off Fiordland moves northeast over the South Island. On Tuesday high pressure over the North Island shifts east as a front moves over the Cook Straight, weakening as it does so. Showery westerlies follow the front, affecting the western and southern areas of the South Island. On Thursday, that front moves over the south island ending the day over the central North Island.
