Long period southwest swell 5 metres, easing. Northwest swell 2 metres, easing. A few showers turning to rain in the evening with poor visibility. Sunday: Northerly 35 knots, becoming westerly 35 knots early morning, then easing to northwest 25 knots in the afternoon. Rising to northerly 40 knots but 50 knots south of West Cape in the evening. Sea becoming high in the south. Long period southwest swell rising to 6 metres for a time. Northwest swell rising to 4 metres. Poor visibility in rain, heavy and possibly thundery before dawn, easing to showers in the morning. Rain returning in the evening. Monday: Northerly 40 knots but 50 knots in the south, becoming westerly 30 knots everywhere in the morning. High sea in the south, easing. Heavy westerly swell. Tuesday: Northwest 30 knots, rising to westerly 40 knots early. Sea becoming very rough. Heavy westerly swell easing. Wednesday: Westerly 40 knots, easing to northwest 30 knots later.
