Sea becoming rough in the west. West of Farewell Spit to Hawera: long period southwest swell 2 metres. Poor visibility in showers developing west of Farewell spit to Hawera. Outlook following 3 days: Thursday: Northeast 15 knots but 25 knots west of Farewell Spit to Hawera, becoming 20 knots but 35 knots in the west in the morning. The changing to northeast 20 knots everywhere in the afternoon. Very rough sea for a time in the west. Moderate northwest swell developing.
