The NZ Sharemarket rose slightly today with the NZX50 up 0.05% percent (6.85 points) from previous close to end the day at 13,672. The most actively traded stock in Wellington, with over 7.8 million shares changing hands was Auckland International Airport Ltd , closing the day up 1% from it's opening to $9.11. The next biggest trader was Meridian Energy Ltd (NS) ($5.66) with over 7.2 million shares being traded. Falls outweighed rises by 112 to 111, with the biggest loser being Steel & Tube Holdings Ltd (up 0%), while the star of the day was Vista Group International Ltd (. |
