The NZ Sharemarket rose slightly yesterday with the NZX50 up 0.34% percent (44.59 points) from previous close to end the day at 13,053. The most actively traded stock on the sharemarket, with over 940 thousand shares changing hands was Spark New Zealand Ltd , closing the day down 1% from it's opening to $3.05. The next biggest trader was Tower Ltd ($1.27) with over 581 thousand shares being traded. Rises outweighed falls by 121 to 119, with the star of the day being Trade Window Holdings Ltd (, while the biggest loser was WasteCo Group Ltd (up 0%). |
