The NZ Sharemarket fell slightly today with the NZX50 down -0.48% percent (-62.98 points) from previous close to end the day at 13,118. The most actively traded stock on the bourse, with over 3.0 million shares changing hands was Contact Energy Ltd , closing the day down 4% from it's opening to $9.59. The next biggest trader was Air New Zealand Ltd (NS) (58.5c) with over 2.5 million shares being traded. Falls outweighed rises by 150 to 65, with the biggest loser being Santana Minerals Ltd (up 0%), while the star of the day was WasteCo Group Ltd (. |
