Market Report - Thursday, 16 May 2024
The NZ Sharemarket surged upwards today with the NZX50 up 1.42% percent (164.38 points) from previous close to end the day at 11,527. The most actively traded stock in Wellington, with over 2.1 million shares changing hands was Spark (was Telecom), closing the day up 2% from it's opening to $4.18. The next biggest trader was EROAD Limited (87c) with over 1.8 million shares being traded. Rises outweighed falls by 7 to 0, with the star of the day being Ryman Healthcare (, while the biggest loser was Just Life Group Ltd (up 0%). |
