The NZ Sharemarket surged upwards today with the NZX50 up 1.51% percent (175.06 points) from previous close to end the day at 11,527. The most actively traded stock on the NZSE, with over 3.6 million shares changing hands was Spark (was Telecom), closing the day up 1% from it's opening to $4.18. The next biggest trader was Heartland Group Holdings Ltd (97c) with over 2.2 million shares being traded. Falls outweighed rises by 116 to 114, with the biggest loser being Just Life Group Ltd (up 0%), while the star of the day was Ryman Healthcare (. |
